Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
I remember you. Like wind over sand the memory of you shifts and ripples, A candle flame in the night, flickering like the pictures in my mind.
Sometimes you see someone and the memory of them seems to scorch itself onto your mind's eye.....the image, although easy to remember, hovers in a haze on the periphery of your vision, like a ghost that your fingers just can't grasp hold of. It fractures and flickers but can't be held.
