A vintage movie poster reprint of ''My Fair Lady'', a 1964 musical film directed by George Cukor, based on the stage musical of the same name, which was in turn adapted from George Bernard Shaw's play "Pygmalion." The film stars Audrey Hepburn in the role of Eliza Doolittle and Rex Harrison as Professor Henry Higgins. It is known for its memorable songs, lavish production, and Hepburn's iconic performance. Here is a description of the film:
Plot:
"My Fair Lady" is set in Edwardian London and tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl with a thick accent and limited social skills. Eliza meets Professor Henry Higgins, a pompous and arrogant phonetics professor who boasts that he can transform her into a refined lady with proper speech and manners.
Higgins takes on the challenge of teaching Eliza how to speak "proper" English and present herself as a lady of high society. As he works with Eliza to improve her speech and etiquette, their relationship evolves...
